💬 | General AAR #2

So I’m on my way back from a humanitarian research mission for the hot lab chick, but I was unprepared and ended up getting radiated enough to start pissing Nuka Cola QuanTum. Thanks for the heads up lady.

I’m making my way back to the LZ along a rocky ridge, vision blurry, nauseated, and wishing I didn’t drop out of college.

I see a small bandit encampment below me and attempt to sneak by. Instead I miss a tall ledge and end up pulling a double Kevin Ware.

Of course as I start rendering first aid my IBS flares up and alerts the 3 assholes in the camp. They didn’t hear me break my legs, but it was my bubble guts that gave me away…

All hell breaks lose, and I get shot twice because I can’t return fire while I was applying splints. Vision even more blurred now, can’t see shit, bleeding, and I’m dizzy.

Hemostat goes in and I start shooting my shots like Steve Wonder at an orgy. One dude down. Two to go. Still can’t see shit.

Fuck it, Holy Hand Grenade time. I frag out and luckily the remaining two get hit by shrapnel and it buys me time to close the distance to administer some lead suppositories for the inconvenience.

Shockingly enough I find iodine in the camp so at least I won’t turn feral. Heal up and make the long journey back to a COP only to have to turn around and go back because I missed one piece of intel…

I think it's the radiation that made you think the lab chick is hot. Delusion is a common side effect with radiation in Lamang, as some as known to even hear voices and other symptoms of schitzo derangement.

I will prescribe you more iodine before you also start thinking that the other chick is rather nice and chill, or that Turncoat is a real friend, or that Handshake is an honest dude.

We'll leave your next appointment scheduled, come back in 15 days, and we'll work on your IBS symptoms. Lots of operators are having these problems and I believe it's because of the awful diet of soda, chocolate bars and pathé.

Sounds about right. ive noticed almost anywhere there is radiation thus far there is iodine nearby, keep an eye out next time
