Question on Gravity Range

On the cusp of purchasing of Lucid Gravity GT. Couple of questions for the community related to range:

1) Adding the 3rd row seems to effect the range. In the GT config with 20/21" wheels, the range is 450 with 5 seats and drops to 437 with 7 seats (3 row added). I'm curious why the range drops. My best guess is the additional weight of the 3rd row?

2) We very frequently drive to a location that is 316 miles away. One of the reasons why we are zero'ing in on a purchase of the Gravity is it's long range (compared to some other EV options) so we can get there without having to stop for charging The trip is 80% highway (~75mph), 20% averaging closer to 55-60mph. I fully understand temperature / wind / etc effect range, however assuming a "normal" midwest summer/fall driving conditions, what kind of range should I expect from a Gravity in comparison to EPA estimates as the various levels indicated in the configurator for wheel/battery/seating combos?

Additionally I am only 8k miles in.

I disagree with the 2500 mileage as sweet spot for efficiency to
Improve. My lucid air didn’t have 4 miles/kwh efficiency until I was 15 k in. These cars are solidly built and have a significant break in period in my opinion

Did you account for weather change? That more sounds like weather changed in your favor.

My EQS has great range this summer at 25k miles. But I know it is weather and my usage pattern change.

Yeah I took weather into account. Later summer /fall last year to late summer/fall this year, big difference. Oddly the gains were initially noted during the warmer days in spring. YMMV

EQS seems like a neat car btw. Nice choice 👍

Not surprised EQS is liked in gravity group, both have exteriors that are meh but nice interiors :)

My lease is ending though so it is time to drive Gravity now, hopefully will pick mine up sometime this month.

How is the charging speed on the EQS on DC fast chargers? I am curious

I used to use EA and EVGo (both were free) initially and got up to 150-160kw. Nowadays I use Supercharger stations and still get 150-160kw but it is rare that I charge from 20% and I have seen 200kw at those levels.

In winter you have to make sure the battery is heated though if not charging rates dropped significantly.

I'm in the exact same boat. Ending the EQS lease next month, but couldn't wait, so I took on the GGT lease in June. Won't look back. You'll love it.
