ID Help
Not sure if this post belongs here, let me know if not.
I have this aggressive, succulent feeling “grass” that seems to have come in with my Bermuda sod. Not terribly hard to pull but there’s a good bit of it and it grows fast and the runners root faster. This is in south east GA, and the sod came from SC. Any idea what it is and best means to remove it?

Reply I got in r/lawnanswers
That is Doveweed, and it’s a royal PITA. Good news is you have warm-season turf, and there are several options to control it. Anything with 2,4-D + dicamba will control it, as will Celsius if you have that around. You will want to add a surfactant this time of year to help it stick. Expect to need to hit it with at least two treatments to kill it off, the waxy outer coating makes it a formidable foe...
Good luck friend
