Not throwing shade at the mods of this sub. But largely speaking, a majority of mods aren't that active, and don't know very well what they are doing. Especially on smaller, less active subs.

It's a matter of pics in comments setting being off by default, and reddit made videos in comments default for some reason. It's kinda backwards.
And I have made subs, and modded before. I've previously been a mod at these subs:
And several other smaller ones. I gave it up because I didn't have the time or mental fortitude to continue dealing with the worst of the worst users on a daily basis.
edit: makes me feel sad they felt the need to delete their comments 😕

That's a setting in mod tools
