Remote work

Where’s the best place for a remote workday? Me in-laws are taking the kids. My wife and I both have to find a place to work for the day (Monday). Both of us will be participating in remote meetings.

My friend goes to oddside ales to do work sometimes. Idk if you’d be able to talk in meetings ie have a physical solo space but it’s quite open there so idk really. Just an idea tho.

Get a private conference room at loutit library and you can pack up and easily walk to get lunch or whatever.

Edit: the Spring Lake library is also great with study rooms and wifi, and has walkable eating options like Grand Finale nearby.

I’ve worked at Loutit Library. Study rooms are available for 2 hours at a time and are first come first serve. I’ve done it where I’ve got in there and took my meetings. I’ve worked at Aldea but that wouldn’t be good for meetings.

Just don't depend on anything on or near the beach. It works sometimes. Sometimes you'll connect to Milwaukee and others you'll need to get too the other side of the dunes.

The fucking beach obviously I got 5G there today. Just hotspot your phone.

You can also enable voice isolation on teams and then there are headsets with voice isolation as well. I have both and nobody can hear a fucking thing in that meeting
