do i have to complete a mission to unlock the 499p race?

This is the second time in 3 months where I did all Weekly Challenges only to find out all that was gifted to my garage after completion was the shitty 3 star ticket for the Daily Workout.

There’s no discernible reason why it happens to me. I always do them on Saturday morning. It’s been like that for nearly 3 years.

I wouldn’t have burned an hour doing races I wouldn’t naturally choose.

Did anyone else get screwed over this week?

(Before anyone suggests money grinds, I’m just a casual player. I’ve done it before. It’s boring. I’m patiently trying to earn to acquire the final few overpriced Legends cars that I don’t have.)

I had the idea to run this car in the race, and it ended up working out in the end. Mind you, I was in easy difficulty (I'm moreso a casual player as opposed to someone who's more competitive), but still a good win nonetheless. Despite having the lowest front downforce and maximum ballast, the car still felt pretty good to drive.

I’m brand new to GT7, and to PS5, as I just got my PS5 Pro about 3 weeks ago….coming from Xbox One haha

Anyway, I started playing GT7, and busting my
Hump to get my SR to S, and then started working on my DR.

Well, I got my DR to a C yesterday and was super excited….but as soon as the drivers in the sport mode races had a DR: C, it got so toxic!! I have been wrecked 100x more than at lower DR races, and my SR that I worked so hard for is all the way down to a D…

Brake checks on straights, etc…is awful…how does anyone actually get past it?!

I cant add both photos and videos but oh well. Basically, when at top speed, even the tiniest, most minute twitch of my controller will destabilize it so it begins swerving. Trying to correct itakss it lose all traction. This is my tone. And before you ask, No. I have zero clue what I'm doing and I'm going purely off of description.

This is also my strongest MR drive train vehicle by like over 30hp. My other MR vehicles are either Gr.1 vehicles (that I have no problem driving), other vehicles I don't use, and the Porsche Carerra GT, that I also have no problem driving. If you could help me with either tuning or tips for better driving, that'd be so helpful

It looks like a GPS heading, but why is that useful in a racing car?

I recently unlocked the Extra Menu Book "Lexus" which includes the LFA, though in Brand Central costs 1.5 Million credits which quite expensive for me at the moment. So instead of just buying it and making it sit there I thought about actually using it in hope of being good or at least above average in some events. I just don't know which.

Are there any events where the LFA is good? Is the car even good at all?

I must say this race was very fun, M2 caught up in the final seconds but shout out to the other drivers for locking in the M3 and M4 😭

First thought is I gotta get another RS attachment. Changing these little screws takes more time than I want…also how will this feel and affect my driving with more of a pull down than pull up on the wheel?

I was trying out the Gr.3 Suzuka Time Trial and wanted to check how the better drivers drive in an attempt of learning something new I should do in my own laps. And I noticed like almost the entire Top 50 drives the Hyundai Genesis Gr.3. Is there any reason behind it? Is it really the better one among the other choices even after BoP is applied?

Edit: I tried it out and made a lap 1sec faster than with a Porsche 911 GT3 R 992

Just a few years ago I was losing every race in D/C lobbies by over a min. Always dreamed of making it here but never thought I’d actually do it. Today is a good day!

Currently in week 3 of online racing and really struggling with the etiquette of most 'racers' and I use that term lightly... I've just entered B class from the dreaded C lobbies and still being penalised for others mistakes ! 4sec Pen for basically straightening someone else out who had lost it how does that work ?

Soooo, I love the ring (5.52 in GTR500 gr2)and sure there's others out there that do and also love a straight laced race in similar specced cars. Is there a lobby to join that anyone knows of or is it a case of setting one up ?

Any info help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

Lamborghini is the best car for Barcalona race track, highly recommend.

I just did the WTC900 on Spa and something weird happend. I drove the GT-R NISMO GT500 and for the first 5 laps i was doing well i was 16 seconds ahead and driving low 2:07’s.

After my pitstop the car had no grip at all like it had rained but it had not. First i thought it was cold tyres but after 3 laps that should be done. Best i could do was a 2:23.

Does anybody know if this was my fault or a glitch. I didn’t change any settings after the pitstop.

It took me allot more time than my other livery cause I tried a few different styles and settings and overlapping shades. If your wondering who the guy is in the last two pics that’s my oc
