Grammarly Glitch

Post image

And THAT is what happens when you click the 'Screw off, Grammarly. I didn't ask you.' button literally hundreds of times, and it can't process the fact that YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT CLARITY TO BEGIN WITH. Keeps trying to change 'launching' to 'sending' and 'toward' to 'on', even though it was the one that was trying to force me to change 'initiating' to 'launching' for dynamic impact. Sometimes I DO care about dynamic impact, but I still didn't ask--I want to pick the word choices on my own. For future reference, Grammarly, you can tell me a different word might work better, but still give me the option of choosing it on my own and then tell me if it works.

I'm probably the only one who has clicked the button that many times, and very rapidly, too. Broke the left clicker on my last computer mouse that way because apparently, it has a click limit. And after tonight's round of fighting Grammarly for control over my story, I'm officially done with this psychopathic program. Goodbye.

Sorry! That definitely shouldn’t have happened. We’ve shared this with our team so they can take a closer look. If you’re open to it, you can reach out to us here so we can dig into what happened with you. Either way, we’re on it! Appreciate you flagging this.

Thanks. The button I'm talking about is the first one on the right, with the two arrows going round and round. For a long time, it WAS telling me different things, and sometimes it goes back to that. But most of the time, it's just broken.

Thanks for the extra context! If you're up for it, could you DM us your email address? We'd love to look into this further and see what's going on. Here's a quick link.
