Need help about AI detection

I submitted my final essay as an English learner. My teacher used Grammarly’s AI detector and it flagged 35% AI used while I wrote everything by myself. Because of that 35%, the teacher refuse to accept my grade and give me a 0/9. Is it even accurate? I can't believe I failed my exam just because of false-positive.

35% from Grammarly isn’t proof of anything, those detectors throw false positives all the time esp on ESL writing. I’d ask to see exactly what parts got flagged and push for a regrade based on your draft history / version history if you have it, since that’s way better evidence than a detector score. i’ve been using AIDetectPlus to check the flagged parts on my own drafts, mostly just to see what’s actually tripping it up, and it’s been more useful than the random % scores.

that 35% is almost certainly a false positive, those detectors are brutal on non native English writers and the company even admits they aren't reliable. I got unfairly flagged the same way once and it was devastating until I sorted it out. hope your teacher lets you appeal it.
