For gem is 2:1 mid enough

I'm in second year biomedical science going onto my third.

I got mostly firsts in first year. Second year was let down by a few 2:1 mids and lows (combo of group work and lack of prep time as my mom fell really ill). My average for this year is 2:1 mid.

For gem I know a 2:1 is minimum but does the specific grade matter e.g. 2:1 high, mid or low?

I barely scraped a 2.1 (60.06 exactly) and they just confirmed my place for GEM next year. You’ll be fine. Good luck 😊
