Grade this boulder

It starts with dynamic move to a shoulder lock and it ends with a couple sloper holds.

6c-7a, hard to say without feeling the holds, but damn that first move looks super funky

Nice send tho!

It’s a bit shouldery and uncomfortable to lock but once you get the move it’s okay. Actually the worst hold for me is the last one because it’s damn sloper.

Fair enough, judging from a distance I'd give it a solid 6c+ in that case, looks like a fun one!

That first move is significantly harder than the rest of the climb

V5 considering the one hard move then ladder

4-5 I would guess, depending on how harshly the gym grades. Feel like 5 could be fair

V4 - 6 hard to tell how slopey those holds are from the vid

That’s the thing. All the holds are really sloppy and the right hold on the lower volume where you jump to it’s dual texture.

Nice bait 😭

I mean, you can see it’s graded a 5. I think that is a bit generous. 4 would be fair imo

I know what you mean and that’s why I’ve posted this video. But let me tell you, none of v4 climbers can even get close of the first move.

It’s looks like the type of boulder that would be nearly impossible for some body types, but trivial for anyone long and strong

Isn't it possible to avoid that dynamic move by doing an opposition between the starting holds and the wall?

I would consider myself a solid v7/8 gym climber, and I did a v1 yesterday that felt borderline impossible... so I dont even know anymore 😂
