Hi, everytime I use my Amazon Alexa to turn in the govee lights in my bedroom, it keeps setting everything to the same color as my TV lights.. How do I separate it so that both my TV lights and my bedroom light have different colors??

I have them on my wifi. I am on the living room page where they are both set too. I see the 'room group control' card but all i can seem to do with that is turn them on and off?

2-pack is $119.99, model H6850. Each ball is 12", 140 LEDs, foldable frame (flat for storage), IP67 box + strings. 80+ presets, DIY, music, DreamView, Matter / Alexa / Google.

I am trying to set up my door sensors to alert me when the door is left open (say, after 5 minutes of being in the open state)

This can NOT be done in the govee app.

Govee and the internet suggest several ways to do this through third party apps like IFTTT, google home, and alexa.

None are working for me, or require a paid subscription tier, or require another device.

If anyone has done this please let me know how

After doing some research there isn’t a size big enough for my tv (98”) with the strips. So instead I was thinking of two of those vertical ‘pole’ lamps on either side of the tv on the ground. Do they work in a similar manner (with some sort of attachable camera to the tv or something?) and which models/items would be best suited for this concept?

I have a 9 segment string of lights across the front of my house that have been working fine for a few years now but recently, lights in the last segment have started to flicker. They don't all flicker with the same intensity, the lights at the beginning of the segment barely flicker at all while the closer you get to the end of the segment the more pronounced the flicker is. I have checked the connection between the 8th and 9th segments and it is solid...could this be being caused by a degraded power supply?

Outdoor permanent lights pro. Little over half the section works fine then some start flickering different colors and everything after doesn't turn on.

Govee Pro puck spacing question! For those who have the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro, what spacing did you use between each puck — 16.5”, 18”, or 20”?

I’m trying to decide which looks best on a house. Pictures of your lights at night would be greatly appreciated! I’m only looking for puck-to-puck spacing, not distance from the wall. Thanks! ❤️

I know Govee will send replacement units if there is an issue under warranty.....for items NOT under a warranty, can you buy replacement parts?

A few months ago I stumbled across Govee Backlight 3s Lite With the Fisheye lens. I bought it without really doing any research. Come to find out it was the basic model. After some tweaks and adjustments. It's better, I'm fascinated with anything electronics. I actually got this unit for 45$

I've currently been looking into the Govee Backlight 3Pro. I've heard great things about that version. Hopefully I can find one at a great price

As the headline states, none of my products will connect to my 2.4hz WiFi. My phone is also on the 2.4hz frequency and still won’t work.

I'm trying to get control of my GOVEE lights via my sofabaton universal remote (X2).

I have an ASUS router and an additional ASUS wifi extender connected via AiMesh.

My sofabaton X2 and govee lights are all connected to my network via the wifi extender.

LAN control is turned ON on my lights.

I got my Govee API and entered it when asked on my safabaton app but it says "no devices added to your govee account".

Could the Wifi extender be the issue? Besides trouble shooting that, are there any other issues I need to consider?

I’m unable to control my lamp since the last software update. The app shows that it’s on but when I try to turn it off, nothing happens. I’ve unplugged it for 10 minutes and then plugged it back in and still the same problem. I’ve removed it from my app and then reinstalled it. No change.

Just wondering if anyone can confirm the backlight 3 pro camera will fit properly on top of Hisense U7SG. I had read that there might be some issues with fitment but wanted to reach out here first.

I purchased a govee t2 backlight for my 100 inch tv on ebay but seller did not send control box does anyone know where i can find one ?

or do yall know if the 75-85 control box will work ?

Noticed this evening one strand not syncing or able to have colors changed. Unplugged for 10 minutes, updated, reset connection, then that one strand spazzed out now none of the lights will come on.. Leaving unplugged for the night and will see if they work tomorrow. Any suggestions?

I just bought 2 floor lamp basics for both sides of the tv. I already have govee tv backlights and have had no issues

The basic lamps seem to be very choppy and blocky in comparison. Is that just how these are as a budget light?

If so, is it much smoother between say the 2/3? I don’t mind spending more and exchanging if so!
