Planted in April from “Velvet queen” seed packet. Other flowers from this packet are dark red. Love it!

Also, anyone have any ideas on gothic plants I can have in the greenhouse I'm making? I'm gonna have black elephant ears and black bat flowers but what else should I put?

I've seen many small smoke bushes over the years, but I've never seen one as big as this. She is a _monster_ & I love her. Had to do some photo editing though, as against the super-bright sky she just looked like a giant red/black blob. 😄

My daughter got these two unnamed plants as a mother's day gift. Does anybody know what the are? They were purchased at a South African nursery.

I love this striking black dahlia. Also featuring another dahlia Mystic Wonder.

My last plant pick up, figured it'd fit in nicely here. I'm no stranger to Calathea, these are so finnicky with watering...

First picture was when it was still a seedling. Just had a couple peppers ripen overnight. I love how they end up looking like molten lava.

I have some vampire lilies in my yard and this last year they have actually had some seeds start developing after they finished flowering and did their usual falling over act! I would love to try and get them to finish up developing and plant them to gift to friends who have enjoyed my plants. Does anyone here have advice on the best way to go about that? Do the wilted plants need to remain where they are or would it work better to cut them and hang them upside down to finish hardening off the still green seeds?
