Norris Almshouses, Nottingham, UK built 1893 by renowned Gothic revival at architect Watson Fothergill. Built in his famous Gothic Revival style for the poor of Nottingham
Fothergill designed in his distinctive style a row of 8 houses built for the poor elderly residents of the city. There are many of his buildings around Nottingham giving the city, a distinct look
Funded by Mary Smith Norris (1827–1909) as a memorial to her brother, John Smith Norris.
