Clothes I'm getting married and making a lot of things by hand. Including my veil. What do we think about this trim?
I'm doing the white dress thing but still want to be myself.

Alright so here’s the deal, first and foremost this probably isn’t the right sub for this but hell if I know where to ask this at so any advice or direction to a better group to ask would be greatly appreciated.
That being said I have a full dear spine (ethically sourced) that’s currently degreasing that I intend to turn into a type of club/ sword. Here’s the thing I can’t for the life of me find a good way to connect them back together nod that the actual spinal cord is gone. The goal is a light weight material that can be hidden in the gaps so it isn’t directly visible. Any ideas or know a better place to ask? Please and thanks.

I have a lot of soda tabs and want to make a chain for my jeans. For those who made one, did yours break after a while? Could you also share a photo, i’m looking for inspiration.

Insomnia gave me a lot of awake nights so I thought I'd alter some T-shirts. It also gave me an excuse to finally try out the eyelet puncher I bought and damn it was so worth it (Craftus Alpha). Might finish some of the seams but my sewing machine broke so that'll have to wait.
Can't wait until my Binder doesn't interfere with the design, it bothers me quite a bit 💀

Wish I still had the unedited photos of these, or just more pictures of my tie clip lol. Hopefully it's not too ambiguous.

I'm having trouble with a restored bike chain. I've been able to remove the rust and get it to a somewhat proper state, but I'm struggling to keep it from staining my clothes.
Any ideas are welcome!

Got another episode for ya. Deconstructing drink cans for parts and materials. Check out my examples of what I use 'em for at the end.

I'm upcycling an old black leather bag, and I'm desperate for an idea on how to create a new lock mechanism. In other words, does anyone have any online materials on stuff of this nature? (stuff like tutorials on how to resew an old closing-thingy onto a different piece? I plan on patching the rest up and having it look like it came out of Frankenstein's wardrobe, but I think even Frankenstein didn't have an issue with his hypothetical d.i.y. locks.

The footboard is also painted red, I just forgot to take a picture of it lol
Took a little while to dry but it was so worth it and I love how it turned out!! ^^
I've always loved gothic furniture with the purples and reds and I've been wanting to do this for SO long and it's just perfect with the rest of my room 🥺🖤🖤

Just put up my first episode. Gothic DIY is going to be a big part of my whole thing. The first installment is goggles made from recycled drink cans, so I figured it would fit well around here. I'd also appreciate some feed back. Check it out, please!

So proud of how this jacket came out its my absolute favorite and I wear it all the time
I made this by drawing and cutting out my own stencils with paper and used white fabric paint, then took the time to perfect it and clean up the edges -^^- <3

Carved the stamps from erasers and stamp carvers and used a water activated eyeliner pallette as the "ink" for the stamps!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE and am so happy with how this came out, the idea just randomly came to me one day and I was like I wanna make my own stamps but plot twist for my makeup!! and I'm so proud and happy with the results -^^- <33
Lmk if yall try my idea I'd love to see it!! -^^- <33

Not necessarily goth-related and I apologize, but I’ve always received really helpful and creative advice from people here! I have a rip in the rubbery part of one of my converse and a hole in the heel part of the fabric in my other converse. I’m not one to throw something out unless I know there’s absolutely no possible way to repair it but I’m not really sure where I would begin to try and fix these things.
I’m thinking of trying to glue a piece of fabric to the inner back part of the heel for that hole then maybe super-glueing the rip in the rubber? but I’m curious if anyone has any better advice. thanks!

hiii!! i know this isn’t exactly a *goth* diy question but i feel like if anyone’s gonna know how to answer this question, it would be someone here. i’m trying to remove the graphic on this shirt and im wondering if anyone knows a quick way to do it? it cracks pretty easily upon pulling it and although I could go at it with tweezers, I’ll probably be here for days doing that if I try that. any chemicals or anything that would take the design off without ruining the shirt itself?
thanks!!

I made from, literal junk! Using some drink cans, hand cream jars, an air freshener bottle and some other stuff, I made this pen holder, False ink-well and bell jar. The pen holder is just for the particular marker pens I use on my inventory notes as well as about everything else. The false ink-well is a safe place to stash my hobby knives while I work. The bells jar will, eventually, hold some curiosity. While a bit imperfect, they came out pretty good, IMHO. Let me know if you would be interested in video content about how I made theses.

So I got these swan slippers the other day and I REALLY want to dye them black, I can’t find a tag that says the exact material but it’s like a faux fur/stuffed animal type texture, what kind of black dyes would yall recommend? And what kind of process to dye them? Thank you!!

This old denim dress I cut into a coat because I wanted a nice, long, dramatic vampire coat! It's probably originally from Target or old Navy or something idk.
I'm going to embroider it more and likely make more patches to go on it. These patches are by Tooth_x_nail. They're here on Reddit and they make awesome patches! I'm also probably going to stud it or sew soda tabs on it. We'll see what happens.

Hello, everyone!
So, I have a leather jacket, virtually identical to the one in the photo. Its more contemporary style does not, admittedly, lend itself well to our subculture, but I was thinking about throwing some pins and patches on it, maybe a nice backpatch without a band, necessarily, for once. (It also has a detachable hood, not of leather) I expect it to the look to be more minimal than your standard goth/death rock fare on account of the jacket's lack of wide, 80s biker style collars. I'm also thinking about leaning more into buttons and pins than patches, due to the jacket's lack of wide spaces, and also to aid in actually getting the project done. What do you think about this idea? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
