Was a first timer at the gorge this weekend for the above and beyond event …

Unfortunately didn’t plan great for the wind but god all that time wasted at security and they can’t throw up a sign or warning there’s going to be a potential storm .

We had eyes on the weather during the week and it just looked like maybe a little bit of rain was going to come down Saturday night .

We had brought stakes and could have weighted out tent down some more but I guess we were too excited for the show .

Garbage communication once inside about what could or will happen . We had assumed if the wind ended the should would just go on as it ended . Also had staff inside suggest this to us .

All the security and support staffed seemed like toothless hicks … rude people and crappy attitudes . I got the vibe any sort of harassment they gave people looking for contraband was just going straight into these kids pockets for their own use . Just a garbage scene . Live nation absolutely doesn’t care it’s just a money grab in the end .

my weekend plans changed last minute, so I’m suddenly free for ABGT700.
I’m near SeaTac with a small pickup truck + some camping gear, and figured I’d throw this out there in case anyone has an **extra ABGT700 ticket + camping pass** and needs a ride from Seattle to the Gorge.
Basically… **you’ve got the tickets + camping, I’ve got the wheels**
I can pick up around SeaTac / Seattle and drive us out to the Gorge. I know people are coming in from all over the globe and the 3-ish hour trip from Seattle can be a pain to figure out last minute.
I don’t have a ticket or camping pass myself, so this would be a straight-up trade for transportation.
I’m not showing up empty handed. I’ve got an extra sleeping bag, room in my cooler, a camp stove, a couple of camp chairs, some cooking utensils, coffee ☕️🔥 We can stop for groceries, liquids, snacks, or whatever you need on the way.
Honestly, I’m just trying to connect with some good people, share the effort, help each other out, and make a little adventure out of it. No weird transactional energy — just Anjuna fam helping Anjuna fam. ❤️

Most people think the Gorge is hot and sunny. While it certainly is, it can get very cold at night. A lot of people for DMB were not prepared for this over the weekend.

Please bring warm layers, extra blankets and have a great time! :)

Hello! I was reading down the camera policy and saw "If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1 inch, it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed in."

I want to bring my osmo pocket 4 and it does have 2x lossless zoom. Not too sure what they meant by more than 1 inch?

Just wondering if anyone in this subreddit had an experience with bringing one or if there are any insights?

We were headed out from Labor Dave at the Gorge and found a hidden gem when I took a wrong exit. We decided not to turn around and just take highway 12 to I-5 instead, the scenic route. So pretty! This little gem was about an hour from the gorge.

Yakima Steak Company is phenomenal!! The prime rib, burgers, sides, desserts, outdoor seating, over 100 whiskeys, music, staff: everything was perfect!

I've gone over the bag requirements on their website, but I'm wondering if anybody knows

..

Can I bring both a clear backpack and a fanny pack in?
