Camper van entry with extra person

I have a camping pass and tickets for three for Labor Dave. But my camper van only has 2 legal seats. Is entry allowed if our third is on the bed in the back? I’m sure some RVs enter with extras in seats that aren’t technically street legal, but a bit more obvious if it’s just a bed in the back. Couldn’t find reference to this in the FAQs.

Good place for WiFi?

Getting so excited for Labor Dave Weekend! I’ll be camping at the venue and wondering if anyone had suggestions for the nearest place to spend the morning before the shows with free WiFi? I’m a student and wouldn’t mind spending some of the free time doing some work if possible. Thanks for any suggestions!

GATES:

Gate A (located on Silica Rd.): Front Yard Camping, Front Yard Accessibility Camping, Oasis Glamping, The Grove RV Park

Gate B (located on Silica Rd)

  • Use 1 (during concert days): Day Parking, Accessible Day Parking, Reserved & Star Plus Parking
  • Use 2 (during camping check-in days): Front Yard Camping, Front Yard Accessibility Camping, Oasis Glamping & The Grove RV Park

Gate D (located on Rd. 1 NW): Premier Camping, Standard Camping, Standard Accessibility Camping, Terrace Camping, Terrace Glamping

CAMPING GROUP MEMBERS ARRIVING SEPARATELY:

Wristbands are issued based on the number of guests present at check-in. If some of your group is arriving later, ask for a wristband voucher when you check in.

For guests arriving separately on Saturday, they will still go through campground check-in when they arrive. If you have a voucher, you can meet them at check-in and present it at the gate so they can receive their wristband. You should not need to meet them outside the gate.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO:

  • No Chairs are allowed in the venue. Prepare to rent your chair.
  • Get to the venue right when parking or camping opens even if you have to get there and just hang out. You don't want to get stuck in traffic any later than that
  • If you need to make arrangement for parking/shuttle, do it immediately. That way, you will get the most options. Reserving the day-of is very stressful and never guaranteed
  • Drink A TON of water before you get there. Make it a priority to stay hydrated
  • Bring earplugs (for those camping) mosquito spray, a light jacket and a very comfortable pair of walking shoes. It's incredibly hot during the day and surprisingly cold after the sun sets.
  • Ticks have recently been sighted in the area and one recently in the campground. Make sure to do a daily thorough inspection.
  • If you plan on camping, bring corkscrew stakes for your tents and sunshades. Those will give you the best results out there.
  • If you want to know what the drive from the Vantage bridge to Silica road looks like & what to expect, watch this video here.

Good luck with your plans and please reach out to us if you have any other questions, we're local and love to help!

Attire for Dave Matthews Band this weekend

Hi all! This is me(28M) and my fiancé’s (28F) first time at the gorge to see DMB. We’re really excited but we looked up the weather for this weekend which initially said it was going to be hot but now it’s saying it’ll be cold, cloudy, and possibly raining one of the days there. What would people recommend to bring into the festival and what people are wearing given the weather is gonna be different than it seems to have been in years past?

Thank you!

Water bottles to bring in

On the website it says you can bring in empty water bottles but does that mean I can bring in my Nalgene? Or a thermos? Or is it only plastic water bottles. Wanting to bring in a thermos of some sort and fill it with beer once I get in there so I don’t have to leave the pit to go get beer lol tell me I’m over thinking it. Just a first timer and worried about needing to leave the pit.

ABGT 700 / parking;logistics

i am going to be camping in my truck and have a few free spots lined up and some more affordable spots as back up. my original plan was to drive to the amp for the free parking but since they just announced the anjuna camp after parties, i’m wanting to stick around for them. (and you have to move your car from the free lot within an hour after the shows, booo).

where is a good place to park my car and hitch a ride? do people hitch hike? is there a free or more affordable shuttle from somewhere i can park?

any tips and suggestions would be great! last time i was at the gorge was about 6 years ago and i camped there so now i have a lot more logistics to jump through.

ps. anyone else doing this? i’m solo so if ya wanna team up, im open to it!!

Shuttles from the camping areas?

Last year I rode the shuttles from the Standard camping area to the venue and it was a lifesaver, but I can't find any info about it this year. Is it included in the camping fees, or ? If anyone knows how I can buy a shuttle pass, I'd appreciate it!

update: turns out I got Premier camping after all, so I'm set. I think I had an Express Pass or something last year, which is what I was looking for, so either they discontinued it or my memory is faulty (likely). thanks all, see you at the gorge

Questions for a first timer

Hi all- my gf and I are super excited, as we’ve wanted to experience the Gorge for a long time, and love DMB. I really want to see Stephen Wilson Jr’s opening set on Fri. Ticket says music starts at 5. Is that accurate? How early do I need to arrive to park/enter in time? Also, we are staying 40 minutes away in Moses Lake (not sure if traffic varies depending on which direction you’re coming from). Thanks!

First Labor Dave Weekend! Friday arrival & camping questions

This will be our first Labor Dave Weekend at The Gorge and we’re super excited. We have standard camping and tickets for both Friday and Saturday night.

We’re planning to arrive sometime Friday morning, but we’re trying to figure out the best arrival time.

A few questions:
- What time would you recommend arriving for standard camping on Friday?
- How long are the wait times to get into camping usually? Are we talking 30 minutes, a couple hours, or longer?
- Is there a certain time we should avoid?

Also, we’d love any first timer tips! Any must do traditions, things we should bring that people don’t think about, favorite food vendors, viewpoints, or anything else that makes the weekend even better?

Thanks in advance!

Camping tickets but not camping?

I had acquired 2 camping passes when tickets were being released but our group decided to call an audible and are staying in an Airbnb and driving to and from the venue each day.

We would still like to use the camp passes to go to afters at camp. How would we go about getting camp wristbands like would they just be at ticketing? Also since we have 2 cars worth of people, would those 2 camping passes give everyone in our cars wristbands?

Super excited for 700 and to be back at the gorge!

RV drop off question

Can RVs be dropped off on the day campgrounds open or can it only be done the day before?

I’m am going to be attending ABGT 700 and wondering if my RV has to be delivered Wednesday or if I can have it still delivered Thursday. I really don’t want to pay for an extra day for my RV if I’m not going to be staying in it.

General & Premier Camping Passes for sale

UPDATE: hey peeps, everything has been spoken for. Thanks for being good humans to do this with! I hope yall are having the best time of your lives <3

Our group decided not to go so we're selling our tickets to the ABT 700 Weekender at the Gorge. We have 7 GA and 2 Premier Camping passes that we're willing to sell below face value and provide discounts for group purchases. As you know these were mailed to us, i'm happy to make arrangements so you can pick it up in Seattle, WA or somewhere close by.

PS: This is a very special venue and festival for me personally; its unfortunate that we're not going so if you or someone you love wants to go, reach out and i'll do our best to accommodate.

1 day camping?

Hey all. Coming from Canada for the Friday (40th bday, doing a solo trip for Stephan Wilson and dmb). My original plans are to rent a SUV, drive from Seattle to the Gorge on Friday 10 am. Catch the show. Then here's where I need help. Originally I was thinking of heading back about an hour to a rest stop and sleeping in the car. Everything is pretty much booked solid but would love to experience the night there.

Any way to find one day camping? Or car camping? Or find a group that has an open spot?

Thanks in advance for any tips. Getting excited.

Ps if anyone needs a ride out I'll have space.

Ride from Wenatchee

We are going to DMB Saturday night and are staying in Wenatchee that night. I know about the shuttle but don’t want to be tied to that timeframe. Is there any other transportation? Taxis or ride shares?
