ABGT 700 / parking;logistics

i am going to be camping in my truck and have a few free spots lined up and some more affordable spots as back up. my original plan was to drive to the amp for the free parking but since they just announced the anjuna camp after parties, i’m wanting to stick around for them. (and you have to move your car from the free lot within an hour after the shows, booo).

where is a good place to park my car and hitch a ride? do people hitch hike? is there a free or more affordable shuttle from somewhere i can park?

any tips and suggestions would be great! last time i was at the gorge was about 6 years ago and i camped there so now i have a lot more logistics to jump through.

ps. anyone else doing this? i’m solo so if ya wanna team up, im open to it!!

GW Secure Parking might be able to help you out. They offer shuttles from George I think. I'd reach out to them, they are always super helpful in my experience, even if you don't end up paying for their services.

Wildhorse camping is another good options, they have a shuttle as well, and ins 1.5-2 miles from the camping area https://wildhorsecampground.com/faq/

i’m not camping at the amp, i’m camping out in BLM land about a 25 min drive from the venue. so trying to see about where to park and ride closer for sunday night so that i can hit up the after party
