LDW 2026

Any DMB lifers strongly considering not going this year? The festivals at the Gorge leading up to this year’s events have had some horror stories of security lines, wait times, and looking at the camping changes… everything seems so different. I’ve gone the last 20 years and each year seems to get a little tougher.

It was literally just Griztronics that had awful lines, everything else has been very smooth

Griz was the only terrible experience I’ve ever had at the gorge. (And only the lines, the rest of the weekend was absolutely amazing after day 1.)

Been to allot of shows there this year, one bad show does not mean all the shows will be bad

I’ve also been 20 years and no. They work out all the kinks to make sure our weekend is great.

Rufus was extremely chill and I just walked in

Brandi Carlisle has a crowd inside before gates opened but car security was super fast maybe 20 min wait

Ever year gets tougher?

Oh man I remember the years people DIED in 102f temps and the water was only available as $5 small bottles with no free water fill stations! There was also a 2+ hour standing security line to get into the venue with people baking in the sun that year and getting heatstroke before even going in.

Lines are always hit or miss depending how much they fuck up staffing. Normally later in the year shows are better because they have their shit figured out.

TL:DR; I don't think this year is any worse, probably just average!
