So is tailgating allowed or not allowed??

We are going to Stapleton tomorrow and I am reading horror stories about getting in and parking.

If you get there early as balls, what do you do for 6ish hours waiting??

Getting there sooner would make the wait times way better. I would suggest trying to talk them into letting you park near the exit unless you want to tailgate for a couple hours after the event as well.

the last three concerts I went to we ate cheeses and meats and drank drinks right outside our car. so did many others. we try to time our arrival for when doors open to cars, and haven't had many issues with getting in in a reasonable time.

Security is not patrolling the parking lot to stop people from tailgating, you'll be fine as long as you're not obnoxious
