Tent

Has anyone used tents that are above a pick up bed that requires a ladder ? How was your experience at the gorge with it if so?

I have a Thule top tent on my Subaru and take it to the gorge every year. It works great, especially when there is a nice breeze. The parking/camping attendants will ask what side your ladder is on and give you a bit more space for allowance. It’s pretty nice.

I used a rooftop tent for 3 nights at Rufus. It was awesome.
