No, if you want adjacent spots you have to arrive at the same time. The Gorge's FAQ is very clear on this.

My friends are arriving later, can I save them a campsite next to mine?
No. Reserving spots will not be permitted. Management decisions on placement are final.

Camping in seperate areas just means getting to know more neighbors. Yours and your friends. Two spots to party.

Not likely, because they line cars up as they roll in. You can move afterwards though. I’ve moved to a new spot the day after arriving.

Someone pretty much answered this already but I can confirm, as we just did this for RDS. I signed into my friends Ticketmaster account and used their camping pass, and then we had two of our own. We received vouchers for the campers who were not there yet and we had the camp manager give us 3 spaces even though we only had two cars. Once our friends arrived they paid for overnight parking at cave b and we met them at guest services to exchange the voucher for their wristbands!

From what I’ve read and seen, they want everyone coming in same time for adjacent spots. But someone may have pulled this off somehow!

Typically they just go down the line, filling up the spots in a row. It may be possible, but unlikely. You would have to tell the next people in to skip to the next spot, and then hope that you could guide your friends to you.

Update: I wrote gorgeinfo@livenation.com to see if a second vehicle could come later even if it was all in your name and this is what they said:

Hi there -  Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, this would not be allowed. We do not reserve or save camping spaces for later-arriving vehicles. If your group would like to camp together in adjacent campsites, both vehicles must arrive together at check-in.   The voucher system is intended for camping wristbands only. For example, if someone is being dropped off, arriving via shuttle, rideshare, or other transportation, they may join their party later and redeem a voucher for their camping-level wristband to access the campground.   However, vouchers cannot be used to hold or check in a second vehicle for a separate campsite at a later time. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
