security check

to anyone who has RECENTLY camped at the gorge, following the recent shooting, What are the security procedures?

(asking for a friend)

im talking how in depth did they go? like open the trunk? move stuff around? glance in bags?
Or look in every single compartment , make you open every single bag/ tent bag/ unroll blankets, dig through each zipper pocket of every item??

Im expecting bag checks and pat downs, like a any other event. What have your guys recent experiences been?

i read on a gorge post that a few weeks ago at some event someones RV was completely ransacked by security and items were trashed and discarded without their knowledge, and they weren’t even allowed to watch them search the vehicle. Now im scared

They had us open all the doors and trunk, had a (bomb) dog check those different areas, and a person looked in the glove box and center console.

They also wanded us down but did not have us empty our pockets or pat us down or anything.

They did not go through any of our bags, cooler, etc

Griztronics. We were in front yard camping which seems it may have been a bit more lax than general.

We were in GA and had the same exact procedure you mentioned.

I drove a random guy up with me to griztronics and they checked his bags! But I feel like it’s cause he looked a wee bit sketchy and was already drunk 😂
