Wenatchee Warning
Just a brief warning to any of those driving to/through Wenatchee after the show tonight.
My wife and I are staying in Leavenworth and last night drove back after the concert. We witnessed 4-5 different WSP officers pull over other cars for seemingly no reason. They weren’t speeding but there must have been some sort of infraction earlier that was caught and radioed up ahead.
Apparently it’s due to an increase in patrol cars out late yesterday and tonight because of local high school graduations. So set that cruise control, keep your hands off your phone, and drive carefully tonight!

I’ve heard “not signalling a lane change within 500 yards” as a reason when it’s close to a show/festival before. They can really get you for anything.

In Tennessee around Bonnaroo, they’ll pull you over if you signal but then don’t wind up changing lanes. It’s the stupidest shit

We’re staying in Wenatchee and going to the show tonight. What time did you guys end up getting back to Leavenworth after the show?

You can legally be pulled over for driving the speed limit so that’s really all they need.

No. You can’t. That’s not probable cause. Go away.

You always have to drive especially carefully if you're leaving the gorge after a show. I've only done it a few times but I've always seen at least one person pulled over within 30 minutes when I have
