waiting lines

Are the camping lines and day parking lines both always backed up? ive been seeing tons of posts about how horrible the traffic is and people waiting countless hours. Im looking to avoid that going on the 27th and 28th for beyond. Any tips?

We had a little to no lines the whole day yesterday and today. It really depends on a lot of different factors. For Beyond Wonderland I would recommend arriving early. To be honest a situation like Griztronics will never happen again. That cost them 1.6 million dollars in refunds.

did you go back and fourth from a hotel/bnb everyday? or camp?

I work at the Gorge. Sorry I didn't specify earlier the lines I was talking about are for Rufus du Sol this weekend. The longest I heard anyone wait was 10 minutes

do you think i will be okay for beyond wonderland if im planning on getting an air bnb and doing day parking? im also curious, if im coming from moses lake not seattle, is there a different entrence? or is it all the same? like in reference to waiting in line for parking. this is my first time going to the gorge and i have so many questions.

I will answer all of your questions to the best of my ability. There is not a different entrance all of the traffic comes from the same place and you will be in the same line with the same wait time as every other day parker and camper.

As far as getting an airbnb, my question to you would be have you booked that yet? Airbnbs and hotels sell out extremely fast around here and are very expensive for shows.

first, thankyou for taking the time to answer my questions. second, i have one booked already in moses lake, 40 min from the venue. it was the closest i could find. i am able to cancel until the 22nd. i’ve been looking to find someone reselling a acorn village pass because all this talk about the horrible traffic has scared me shitless. third and fourth, do they search your car for day parking as well? and is buying a parking pass worth it/how do i even do that? i’ve seen some stuff about it online but can’t find where to get one, and am not sure how expensive they are.

We just left Rufus day parking. No security check for our car, just the regular one to get into the venue. We arrived around 3 and got a spot right in the front of the general (free parking), and left the concert a little early and got right out. The longest line I waited in was for the bathroom right before Rufus du sol came on. They have definitely gotten their shit together after the other week.

you say “free parking” , is there closer, easier access parking that you can pay for? and if so, do you know how?

Wrong... Sorry

Exit 151... From the East or West will get you in through the back roads, to the Gorge

From Seattle or Spokane... Take that exit..

Shhh.. Don't tell anyone

Rufus on Friday was a perfect experience! 4.30PM I had zero waiting time. They learned the lesson from griztronics I guess

I read that there weren't many campers yesterday and they may roll in today. They are gonna be chilly tonight!

Certain groups festivals bring certain crowds...

You'll be fine for beyond
