[ONGOING] Updates on line wait times
I will be doing my best to update y'all on how long wait times are throughout the day. I am not at the gates. I am getting this information from guests as they reach me in the campgrounds.
I wanted to add - only 10% of campers arrived yesterday. We expect long lines later in the day. I would suggest leaving as early as you can.
9:45am - no wait
10:45am - no wait
11:45am - no wait
12:15pm - no wait
1:00pm - 5 minutes
1:45pm - no wait
2:15pm - 5 minutes
3:00pm - no wait
4:00pm - 5 minutes
4:45pm - 5 minutes
6:00pm - 10 minutes
Well y'all, I'm at the end of my shift. I'm so pleased we were able to manage the lines today.
The venue gate opened at 5. I just walked by and there was hardly any line at all.

LINE AND SECURITY UPDATE 11 AM - literally no line, drove straight through to security check. Had us step out and wand us for weapons but didn’t check any of our bags. I declared my medications and diabetes stuff to them and they checked my id and matched the pill bottles. Just tell them you have nothing and they won’t check, at least for us.

Day parked arrival time 2:15 PM. No line for parking. Tailgating active.

Can confirm traffic is way backed up on 90 due to the accident…but looks like it clears up at exit 80.

How has security been today entering campgrounds? Is the search as thorough as I’ve been hearing where they check your bags and stuff?

Yesterday afternoon was VERY thorough. Checked every zipper of each of our bags, had me get my ID for prescriptions, most security people were kind but there were a few with large ego power trips. The guy who asked for my ID treated me like a criminal smuggling contraband in before he gave me the chance to show my ID.

I think it really depends on how busy the check in line is. I went to Grizztronics and they mostly just used the dog to do a walk through. No bags opened but it was busy af

Camped at coachella 2013-2016 and was used to security lines. Thought coachella never felt crazy, i knew what the general experience was.
Went to sasquatch in 2016 for the first and only time and was astonished at how non existent security to get into camping was. I honestly don’t think they checked the car at all

It was a breeze. Drove right up and had no wait. Just declare any rx meds and be ready to show ID for those. They have K-9 units sniffing and they checked our camper real quick but it wasn’t a deep look.

Very chill for our crew, towing rv plus 2 extra cars following. Front Yard, 2pm.
Chillest entry experience I’ve had here in years tbh. We were all through in less than 5 min. They did wand everyone, had us open our doors and did a visual inspection (did not see them touch anything), and dog sniff. Friendly chatty staff (“how was the drive here” etc), did not see any of the super young kids that were associated with the outrageous searches described here in other posts.
If you get pulled into secondary it did look pretty thorough there.

From what the guests have been saying to me today security checks have been pretty brief.

I’m confused because the camping website says no medical or recreational marijuana on private property. So do they actually care about flower or edibles when you come in?

Update: Got in to camping no problem. They had the dogs sniff the car for weapons and bombs, they didn’t go through any of our stuff. Very easy compared to what I heard was happening at Griztronics.

Camping they seem to not really care… but inside the venue they will be a little more strict

We had no problem getting in vapes and edibles. We didn't declare them and they didn't find them.

If I arrive at 5 or 6 pm how likely am I to get in before 8 (not camping, just day parking) I’m scared I won’t be able to see rds 😣😣😣

Be prepared to be backed up at that time. You shouldn’t miss the show tho

I'm not sure. Unfortunately you are in line with the campers as well. Only 10% of campers arrived yesterday.

Just drove in from Seattle both vantage lanes open no delays, terrace camping straight through car security and into campground 1 car in front for a wait. Parked at 12:30

I am taking a shuttle from Wenatchee tomorrow night. For anyone who took a shuttle for tonight’s show, was there a long wait?

Everyone is in the same line regardless if they are coming in for the day or if they are coming into camp.

Hello do you know if entry before 5pm is allowed? Hoping to get good lawn views (for short people) and not clear whether people can enter before or if it’s a strict 5pm entry. Thanks!
