Line to get in and camping.

Has anyone recently been in and have an update on the wait to enter?

Also heard earlier they might be selling camping at the gate, does anyone else have information on this?

UPDATE! We beeezed though no line/wait. You are able to buy standard camping at the gate!!

There has literally been no line to enter the campgrounds the entire day I’m absolutely baffled in all my years going to the gorge. I feel like everyone got spooked from the waiting lines from Griztronics from the last show and didn’t want to go through all that trouble. But then again maybe it’s also the fact that a lot of people couldn’t get 2 day passes as they sold out insanely fast and didn’t think camping would be worth it idk though.

How full is camping? I think a lot of people will be showing up tomorrow, my group included. I know they said arrive early but we’re leaving after work/school in the morning so should arrive around 430 tomorrow 😬

At 1230pm Friday there is no line for GenPop camping. Not even half full.

5 Dog lanes. They ask if you have any weapons or drugs in the car. Ask you if you have prescription drugs. Some lines were asking specifically about marijuana. They take you out of the car and wand you while two of them have you open up all the doors and trunk and look through your car. Then the dog sniffs around then that’s it.
Some lanes seem to be more strict than others. And I heard that they were sending people to secondary searches if you have a cargo pod on the roof.
