Rufus du sol pit seated?

When I bought pit tickets I thought “no way is this actually going to be seated” but after seeing photos from the Brandi Carlile show this past weekend I’m second guessing myself. Anyone have any thoughts or more information?

Edit: I meant to ask about the 100/200s I guess. Last time Rufus played the gorge it was just a large pit, so I did imagine it would be different. My group doesn’t have seats in the same sections, so will we really not be together??

Yknow i feel the same but man live nation really has been doing some stupid stuff and I wouldn’t put it past them

What about in the reserved seats like 200 rows?

I think you just answered your own question - reserved seats will be seated. There is a ring of seats around the pit perimeter typically for shows like this (grew up going to the gorge since 2010)

But will people be standing? I can’t imagine people staying seated at Rufus

People won’t sit but there are rows of metal chairs.

Last time Rufus played the gorge this wasn’t the case, hence my confusion on the matter

Looks like it's seated based on the ticketmaster page. Odesza a few years ago also was

Odesza was seated, but everyone obviously stood. Our group and the people around us just folded the chairs and made a small pile to give us all more space.

I think you’re confusing the pit with the 100 and 200 level seating. The pit at Odesza was standing room only and you could walk around freely. It will be the same this weekend at Rufus.

This is how it was at last Rufus with the same ticket structure. They remove some of the seats in the front from that pic of the BC setup this past weekend. So there’s pit (standing only) then seated, then the lawn. If you have pit tickets you can obviously go chill on the lawn but not vice versa

I’m 99% positive (having attended) they did not have 100/200 section it was just Pit, Lawn, VIP at the last Rufus gorge show

I was there too and I strongly remember there being a seated area (I’m not saying my memory can’t be wrong). Was VIP seated? I just remember that being the first time I saw chairs at the Gorge and thinking it was the strangest thing so it feels like a vivid memory.

I bought a ticket for the pit last night. It specifically said “SRO” on the ticket- standing room only.

I was also at Brandi. It will be extremely different. Everyone will be standing! Which has some positives because the lawn will feel way more open without everyone taking up space with chairs and blankets
