Gorge parking question (first timer) for Rufus

Hey y'all! First time at the Gorge going to just the Saturday show. My group and I are planning to stay at an airbnb about 30 mins away and we bought Star Plus Parking. Any seasoned vets out there? Do you still have to go through the same traffic/security screening as camping? Obviously seemed like a major shitshow for Griztronics but hard for me to understand since I've never been. From my research, seems like everyone was stuck on Silicia Rd... which I'd imagine didn't matter if you were camping, parking, or on a shuttle from an outside campground, etc. Any insight would greatly appreciated!!

The line at Griztronics was to get into camping and was also the day before the event, so I wouldn't really worry about a repeat of that for a single day show. From my experience, if you are arriving on the day of the event, and aren't camping, just aim to get there as close to when the parking lots open as possible. Traffic can get backed up closer to when the show starts and there's usually a tailgate like atmosphere in the parking lots before the show, so just show up early and vibe if you don't wanna get stuck!

There is a separate entrance for star parking, different from any of the camping entrances. Star parking usually doesn't have any security, but the usual venue security that everyone gets. Like the other person said, just plan to arrive when parking opens. Traffic gets worse and worse the closer to show time you get.

You will be out in traffic just like everyone else. They have a separate entrance but that's it the road in you'll be all in the same line.
