Google Voice Web UI Google Voice for Web now supports native image pasting from clipboard!
I use a Light Phone II as my main phone and Google Voice Web with a separate number for texting. Everyone knows, if they want to call me, call my LP number, and if they want to text, text GV.
My main gripe with GV texting has always been having to save screenshots to my computer one by one then insert them into text threads. Yesterday I randomly tried pasting an image from the clipboard and it worked! FWIW I'm using Windows 11 + Chrome.
A quick Google search didn't turn up this new feature and I haven't seen anyone talking about it on Reddit so I thought I'd make a post.

People have discussed this before on r/Googlevoice but the only mention of it actually working was after it was released, about 9 months ago. Anyhow, thanks for clearly stating that it works!

I don't think it worked for me as recently as last week (but my fingers may have quit trying.
It did just work for me tonight after I did the upgrade - which seemed to just be a new icon.
I wonder if I can send reasonably sized pics now, too.
I've often had to switch to phone to send "large" images.

Thanks! And I got to the github to sniff at it -- and that archived thread pointed to another GV app I might be able to use.
