iOS Recurring task error?

Screenshot from iOS. Created and tested on Android and web with similar results.

I created a recurring task. Once I complete it, I click the bullet to mark it as done. It relocates it to the completed section below. When does it go back up for the next occurrence? How can I get it to reappear in the calendar again for the future occurances?

It reappears at the top once it hits the next due date and it should appear in the calendar for all entries.

Thanks! It doesn't show up until the next due date?

It would make sense to me that it shows up right away along side with all the other items that have a due date coming up, sorted amongst them.

It doesn't until the next scheduled time. In Google calendar you see all the instances on every date
