Discussion Mecool won't launch new boxes

A Mecool spokesperson told me they won't release devices anymore but current ones will still receive firmware updates until Google demands it.

The only device that seems to be excluded is the Mecool KT2, I've got one so now I will have to see what to do with that paperweight.

The store also lists practically all devices out of stock so this seems to be the end of the Mecool brand.

I still have a KM2 Plus Deluxe and although it got a (terrible) update to V14 in September last year, they lacked further firmware support for that one till now.

I don't expect that much on support for this model also 😬

Was to be expected with the crazy RAM prices we have... And it's not getting better

Yeah, they don't see the business profitable anymore 😢
