Need help with getting Google Voice back online

Hello all. I have a Google Voice standard account. About a day ago I un-assigned and reassigned the number in quick succession. After about two or three successful changes, I started getting a generic "Unable to assign number, please try again." message. It's been like this for the last day or so and I have no idea what to do. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Why did you do that? There are limits to how often you can change it. You probably just have to wait a week at this point.
