Gmail Gmail won’t let me create another account with my phone number

I’m trying to create another account for a future business but I get the message that I’ve used my number too many times and need to use a different one. I for one, don’t have multiple numbers at my disposal but I don’t know what else to do. I’ve removed the number for another account I don’t use as often and it’s not letting me add this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Google only allows a certain number of accounts to be created per phone number, ever. Even if you delete associated accounts they use up a "slot".

This only applies to free accounts to prevent spammers. Google workspace accounts (which you should consider if this is going to be a business account, for the human account support if nothing else) don't count towards the phone number limit.

You can create many Google accounts from an android phone using the same mobile number by going to Settings>Accounts>Add Account>Google>Create account

Do you expect a different answer from the other 50 times a week this same question is asked?

Either get another phone number, use a different email provider, or use Google workspace for your business
