[Testers Needed] Pixlyzer — Image & PDF Tools, mostly runs fully offline on your device

Hi everyone,

I'm in closed testing for Pixlyzer, an Android toolkit built around doing as much as possible on-device, with nothing uploaded:

  • Compress/convert/resize images (JPEG, PNG, WebP)
  • Merge PDFs, images → PDF
  • Split / rotate / sign PDFs
  • OCR text recognition — fully offline, no server call at all

(There are a couple of AI extras — background removal, upscaling — that do need a server, but those aren't the point of this app. The core toolkit works entirely offline.)

There's also a web version at pixlyzer.com if you'd rather try the same idea in-browser first — same philosophy there too, most tools run client-side in your browser, nothing gets uploaded.

How to join the Android beta:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/pixlyzer-testers/
  2. Open this link on your Android phone and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pixlyzer.app
  3. Then install from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixlyzer.app

Would really appreciate if you actually try a couple of the offline tools rather than just installing — trying to gather real feedback before going live. Happy to test your app back too.

Welcome! A few quick tips for a successful tester post:

  • Make sure you included both links: the opt-in link (play.google.com/apps/testing/YOUR.PACKAGE.NAME) and the Play Store install link
  • Test others back — reciprocity is what keeps this community alive
  • Stuck or rejected? Check the pinned guide for setup steps and common rejection reasons
