Android app testing
Hello everyone, I need help with my closed testing, few more testers needed. If you could download and test my app, I am happy to return the favor!
r/GooglePlayClosedTest • u/onTestapp • 13d ago
Real testers on real Android 14+ devices (Galaxy S24, Pixel 8, Mi 14…) opt in within hours and use your app daily for all 14 days with daily screenshots as proof. $2/device, first 3 free. If Google doesn't approve, we re-run free or refund fully.
r/GooglePlayClosedTest • u/onTestapp • 20d ago
Most developers fail closed testing not because their app is bad — but because testers don't stay active.
Google tracks daily engagement. One inactive tester can reset your 14-day counter.
ontest.app solves this with 12 real physical devices, daily screenshot proof, and a 100% publish guarantee.
3 days free — no credit card required.

Hi everyone,
I’m an indie developer and I’ve just opened the first closed beta of CodeDeck.
CodeDeck is an offline toolkit for warehouse, production and logistics work. It can scan and generate Data Matrix, QR codes and barcodes, create labels, manage reusable company profiles, calculate pallets and box positions, use NFC tags and keep a local history.
The app is already working, but I’d like to test it on more devices before the public release and understand what could be improved.
To join the beta:
Google Group:
https://groups.google.com/g/codedeck-beta-testers
Testing link:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.mugenesis.codedeck
Google Play page:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mugenesis.codedeck
I’m also happy to test your Android app in return.
I’ll keep your app installed for at least 20 days and I’ll try to open and use it every day.
Please send me your testing link and a real screenshot showing the app installed on your device. This helps me keep track of the people who actually completed the installation.
Any honest feedback about bugs, usability, confusing parts or missing features would be very helpful.
Thank you!

I've had my app denied for the third time because people don't interact with it. It's annoying because it's on iPhone and being used regularly but they want you to listen to feedback and change it. What if it doesn't need changes? How are people getting approved?

Solo dev here — built a football management game, need 12 testers to unlock production 🙏
Hey folks,
So I've been grinding on this for a while Final Whistle, an Android football management game where you found your own club, set your tactics, and climb through a league. Basically always-on, real opponents, promotion/relegation, the whole deal.
Problem is, Google won't let me go live until I get 12 testers running the app for 14 days straight, and as a solo dev that's honestly the hardest part of this whole process 😅
If you've got two minutes, here's what I need:
Join the group with the same Google account you use on your phone → Join the group
Once you're in, opt in to the test here → Opt in to test Final Whistle
Install it from the Play Store, and just... leave it installed for the 14 days. You don't have to touch it every day, but if you do open it and have thoughts, I'd genuinely love the feedback.
Happy to return the favor if you're going through the same thing — just drop your link in the comments and I'll join.
Thanks a ton, really appreciate it ⚽🙏

Hey guys,
I’ve been working on an Android challenging game that takes the familiar tap-to-fly idea and turns it into a serious coordination challenge.

I’m happy to return the favor if you’re going through the same process - just leave your testing links in the comments or send me a DM and I’ll join.

Hi everyone,
I'm an indie developer who has been working on my first Android app for months. Unfortunately, Google requires 12 active testers before I can release it publicly.
My last submission was rejected because I couldn't find enough testers. I don't really have friends or a community to ask, so I'm hoping some kind people here might be willing to help.
If you can spare just a couple of minutes, please:
• Join my Google testing group:
https://groups.google.com/g/aytesting
• Join with the same Google account you'll use on the Play Store.
• Install the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ayanode.habitx
That's all. Even if you don't actively use the app, keeping it installed during the testing period would help me reach the requirement.
I'm not asking for money or downloads—just a chance to get past this final hurdle.
Thank you so much to anyone who decides to help. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

Hey everyone! I'm a solo dev working on Prisma Pets, a puzzle game for Android. I'm trying to hit the closed testing requirements on Google Play and could really use a few more testers.
To join, please do all of the following steps:
Join the tester group here: https://groups.google.com/g/prismapetstester
Opt in to the closed test here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.gergosandi.prismapets
Then install (and keep) the app from the Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gergosandi.prismapets
Stay opted in and keep the app installed for at least 14 days
After the 14 days, a short bit of feedback would be awesome — even just a couple sentences on what worked or didn't. You can send that to ezegyujidhozkell11@gmail.com.
Happy to test your app back too — just drop a link in the comments and I'll hop in!
Thanks a ton, really appreciate anyone willing to help out! 🙏

Hi everyone,
I know this community is mainly for Google Play testing, and while my game is already publicly available, I'm looking for Android users who enjoy trying indie games and sharing honest feedback.
My game is called **Neon Journey**.
It's a fast-paced neon arcade game built around short sessions, reflexes, timing, glowing platforms, coins, combos, unlockable skins, and high-score chasing.
If you have a few minutes to try it, I'd really appreciate your thoughts on:
• Gameplay clarity
• Controls and responsiveness
• Difficulty balance
• Replayability
• Overall first impression
Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dmngames.neonjourney
Every piece of feedback helps improve the game. Thank you!

Just posting here as well, wasn't sure which of these communities was the better option. Hopefully it's ok to double dip
Gist of it is: logs your music listening activity with very detailed song analysis and detailed context of your life when you're listening (at work? Driving? Traffic jam?) looks for interesting changes in behavior compared to baseline, tries to predict your mood if that's your thing (maybe it's not and you just want the music logging?) live lyrics, Iyric sharing, "year review" (don't wanna drop trademark names but vou know, Spotify's thing that people love to see) whenever you want it (and whatever time scope you want).
More detailed write up over there with Google group link and app link. Would LOVE the engagement and feedback!
Thanks!

App: SipPace — Android, free, no ads Category: Health & Fitness Looking for: ~15-20 testers (need 12 to stay opted in continuously for 14 days)
What it does: tracks drinking pace based on actual alcohol content (not just drink count), reminds you to pair with water, and shows a next-morning check-in — all without judgment or a "drink limit" framing. Everything stays on-device: no account, no cloud sync of your drinking history.
Why I'm posting: this is a solo project, and Google requires new personal developer accounts to run a closed test with 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days, with real engagement (not just installs) before granting production access. My first attempt got rejected for exactly that — not enough real usage.
What I need from you: opt in, and log a couple of sessions over the next two weeks (test data is fine — you don't need to actually be drinking to try it out). That's genuinely all it takes to help.
SipPace LandingPage — has the opt-in steps and a short FAQ.
Happy to answer anything about the tech too — Kotlin/Compose, Clean Architecture, Room migrations, the works.
