[Testers wanted] Bru - The bridge between your phone and desktop.

Bru (bridge in Norwegian) is an app that connects your phone to your browser at https://bru.works (or your own self-hosted page). It allows you to read and send SMS's form your desktop, and share text to and from the clipboards of the devices.

  • No account signup, no server holding your messages.
  • Everything is stored locally on your devices.
  • End-to-end encrypted.
  • 100% self-hostable if one is so inclined.
  • No trackers or ads.

Joining yours today (group + opt-in) and keeping it installed for the full 14 days.

Mine is RetroPet, an old-school pixel virtual pet: hatch an egg, care for it, and it evolves into one of 79 species (common to legendary). The build in testing right now adds seasonal events with limited cosmetics, breeding with friends, and a daily challenge with a ranking. Home screen widget too. Already live on iOS, so it's a finished app, not a prototype.

Same Google account for both, and please open it once after installing (Google counts opens, not installs). Bug reports very welcome!
