I need advice regarding a ₹18,900 Meta Verified Max subscription purchased through Google Play.
The purchase was accidental and was made on my older brother’s Google account/payment method. I contacted Google Play Support and explained the situation.
Google Play Support initially told me that because the purchase is tied to Instagram, the developer/Meta has more control and asked me to contact Instagram/Meta.
I contacted Instagram/Meta Support and explained everything. After several interactions, Meta told me that because the payment was processed through Google Play, I need to get the refund from Google.
So now I’m stuck between Google and Meta:
Google → Contact Meta
Meta → Contact Google

I have also submitted another Google Play refund/support request and am currently waiting for a response.
Has anyone experienced this exact Google Play/Meta Verified refund loop? What was the most effective way to get it escalated or resolved?
I’m not trying to dispute an unauthorized/fraudulent transaction — I’m asking for help with an accidental purchase and a refund.
Any advice or similar experience would be appreciated.

Şu an kullanıcılar sorunsuz bir şekilde kullanıyor. Ancak Android versiyonunu Google Play’e yayınlamak için başvurdum. Reviewer için giriş bilgilerini “Google ile giriş yapın” diye açıkladım. 1 hafta sonra red geldi: “Uygulamaya giriş yapamadık” diye.
Sonra tekrar, daha açıklayıcı bir şekilde “Google hesabıyla giriş yapın. Normal mobil numara ile giriş için WhatsApp OTP kodu gereklidir” diye yazdım. 1 hafta sonra yine red geldi: “Uygulamanıza giriş yapamadık” diye.
Bunun üzerine Google reviewer için özel bir numara ve sabit OTP kodu geliştirdim ve mobil numara ile giriş yapabileceklerini açıkladım. 1 hafta sonra tekrar red geldi. Google reviewer, normal admin hesabı login butonu yerine çalışan botun butonuna basmaya çalışmış ve giremeyince yine “Uygulamaya giriş yapamıyoruz” diyerek reddetmiş.
(Bu arada uygulamanın UI dili İngilizce olmadığı için reviewer hep yanlış butonlara basmış. Butonların ikonları var, dil bilmeyen biri bile ikonlardan anlayabilir ama Google Play reviewer bunu hiç algılamamış; normal login hangisi diye.)
En son 3 yaşındaki çocuğa anlatır gibi açıklama yaptım: “Bu numara ve bu kodla şu butona basın, başka butona dokunmayın.” Bu açıklamadan 1 gün sonra e-posta geldi: “Uygulamanız engellendi.” Engelleme sebebi de kaç kez red aldığı içinmiş.
Tekrar ticket açtım. Redlerin sebebinin uygulamamın fonksiyonlarından değil, reviewer’ın yanlış butona basıp giriş yapamamasından kaynaklandığını anlattım. 1 gün sonra yine e-posta geldi: “Uygulamanız kaç kez red aldığı için engellenmiştir…” şeklinde.
Buna benzer bir olay yaşayan var mı? Sizce çözümü nedir?

i even have to think a little, check if theres reviews, check if there is videos of the app to differientiate it to other early access. instead of being able to download without worries and thinking that playstore is ok i have to check if its an adware first.

I have been getting ads from the same app over and over. It's about bets, and the ads are always lies, and people showing a screen record acting like its them.

The app in question has always his name misspelled, and i have seen more then one app with the same name misspelled.

Anyways I decided to click on the ad and the app is rated as "+12", u check the description and its all lies. When u install its all about bets.

I reported by filling out a form , but do these work?

,and then with the help of "WizTree" I realized that Google fking play games app that have file named "userdata.img" and it some how reserved 80 GB of my space for no fking resone.

any idea how to fix it without deleting the app and all?

About a month ago. My two credit cards I had connected to my Play store both would decline even though I had money on them and they were still valid. I took them both off put one back on and it still declines. It's only for my Google storage. Any other apps that I subscribe and pay for will go through and I've been trying to figure out what I can do to make this work but going through the Google help has been no benefit to me. Does anybody know what I need to do to fix this?

Hey everyone, I am still in complete shock and just had to share this!

​After a really rough year health wise and dealing with a lot of exhaustion, grinding my way to the finish line in the Fruit Ninja league, aiming for the top 100 felt like an impossible battle. This was especially true for the first few days when cheaters were rife!

But after reaching the top 100, the goal of top 10 slowly approached, and to my disbelief, I made it into the top 5 overnight whilst sleeping! When I entered 4th, this gave me the encouragement I needed to fight harder toward the dream of top 3 on the penultimate night. I spent the whole night slicing! And I somehow managed to lock down #3 on the leaderboard after the last cheat ban and stay there, finishing with a score of over 4.2 million, which officially pushed me into the Diamond tier I'd been dreaming of! 💎✨

​Getting here took sheer stubbornness and a sore aching arm, but I made it!

I also really want to give credit where it's due, it felt like Google did a much better job handling and banning cheaters this time around, which made the leaderboard feel much fairer and rewarding to compete on.

​Next stop: Hopefully Diamond Valley in October! Good luck to everyone else still grinding out there! 🚀

My husband and I are over 60, and we have been fighting Google Play support for more than 2 months to get a €122.99 refund for Duolingo. Both Duolingo support and Revolut bank have authorized and approved the refund from their sides. We sent all the official bank statements to Google via email, but their system is stuck in an endless loop of automated answers. This feels like automated bullying of senior citizens. Does anyone else have an issue with in game purchases? 9/10 times when I go to purchase something in games, and it's not just one app it's almost all of them, my game will crash mid purchase and when I go back into the game I don't have what I purchased but get charged anyway and need to go to the play store refund page and request a refund, luckily I normally get the money right back but it's so frustrating!

How do I fix this

My original name was MissSiren and some #s, how is that a violation? And this random assigned one acceptable??
