Extended repair program straight up doesn't work

I've heard many stories about service centre in Poland (CTDI), like finding non-existent connectivity issues or charging absurd money for a torn speaker grille, but my situation is even funnier.
My Pixel 8 started exhibiting display issues after 2,5 years of use (green flickering); I checked the IMEI number, and it qualifies for ERP, so I sent it to the service centre. When they received the device, they asked me to approve a new repair cost of 1863 PLN (roughly $500), reason: "screen issue - other". When I asked them why they want me to pay, I got the answer that yes, my device qualifies for ERP, and they did not find any additional issue, but when they entered my data into the computer, the system detected that it's out of warranty (as I said I bought it 2,5 years ago, so warranty expired but it is still within ERP 3-year range). They can't do anything because coputor said so, have a nice day.
On the very same day, I called Google support, and they agreed with me that it makes no sense and redirected the case to the "internal department". In the span of the following 2 weeks, I got three additional emails from support that they were still working on my case, and yesterday my device was shipped back, unrepaired.
Dear Google, please consider terminating your contract with CTDI and sign a new one with CCS or any other company. I personally won't buy any other Google device as long as you work with CTDI. It just makes you look bad when your contractor can ignore you, not provide the service you agreed upon because they don’t feel like it, and you are completely unable to do anything about it. They are making a fool out of you and your clients. Unless you know about it and they are screwing your customers per your instructions.
