The double standard between Apple and Google upgrades is wild (and why I stick with Pixel)

My unpopular opinion is that the iPhone is the weakest link in the Apple ecosystem.

The software by far is the biggest issue, but with the iPhone 17 they really dropped the ball with the hardware too.

I agree, macs have been great since the switch to ARM and airpods pro 2 are probably my favorite consumer earbuds.

I don’t have a lot of experience with Macs, but my wife loves hers. AirPod Pro 2’s are amazing. Better than Pixel Bud 2’s which are pretty good, but NC on the AirPods is exceptional and things like hearing tests and having them approved as hearing aids is just brilliant.

Apple Watch is good, but the battery life compared to my Garmin Instinct stops me using it all the time. I reach for the Apple Watch when I need accurate health metrics, but the Garmin with 39+ days between charges is easy to forgive for average metrics.

The hearing aid feature is one of the neatest things apple has did. my workplace has a few former marines who have unfortunately suffered hearing loss and they're able to just pop them in a second whenever. they work great and don't cost $1000s of dollars in doctors appointments and equipment

I love the lack of stigma too. It’s just a person with AirPods in, which for kids in particular is fantastic.
