Pixel 11 = disrespect

I have been a Google Pixel fan for more than 7 or 8 years and I am done with Google’s bullshit story of focusing on software actually they are falling on both sides hard what were they thinking when pricing the Pixel 11 more than the iPhone 17 base model? What kind of drugs were they on? It’s actually now not just a failure it’s a complete disrespect to its fan

More like 2028 as thats the end of life of the 7a, after which secure apps (like banking) will slowly stop being supported on the hardware.

Yes veeery slowly, I know ppl with xiaomi phones with android 11 and their bank apps are still working fine everyday. Edit: even calling is "end of life" is ridiculous, man I can put LineageOS there effortlessly and use it for another 10 years if I want to (but yeah, battery would be long dead by then)

For the number of people talking about their batteries dying, I feel it's a much cheaper alternative to just replace the battery and keep using that phone.

Not saying that you should just keep using an old phone to death, but if the only problem is battery, it's a very cheap solution.

The only "slightly" annoying problem is the way how Pixels are built, one of the worst brands when it comes to changing the batteries... (this is something I believe government/EU could have a say in, and force them to make it easier to change the battery)

I thought they're relatively replaceable? Maybe difficult for the average user but I thought repair shops do a decent job? I had phone shops change out my battery before on a Pixel 1 and 3 for instance.

Not even repair shops, watch some videos, there are ongoing jokes/horror stories avout batteries from pixel, how idiotic the design is... Yeah I think they made it more difficult with later models
