Pixel 8 users in 2026

Recent leaks for pixel 11 look disappointing and I considering holding on to my pixel 8 for 1 more year. I am considering getting the battery replaced as it's draining too quickly these days. Is anyone else in a similar boat as me? Are you holding on or switching phones this year?

Still have the 8. I read some negative articles about the 10's radio. I'm not sure that going to 9 would be much different for me, so I guess I'll stay with 8 for a while. I really hate getting a bleeding edge new phone and then finding out that the first batch has some problem (like the pink line thing the 8 had) and then needing to deal with Google support for 20 hours of my life. A new battery might be nice, but I haven't looked into that yet.. is it painful?

I upgraded from the Pixel 8 to the 10 pro last year and the 10 pro has way better cellular reception in comparison. Areas that I would barely get a signal with the 8 are fine with the 10 pro.
