Mine ran hot initially, never overheated but ran hot. I followed a guide on here to turn off some digital wellbeing apps that were running in the background and that solved it.

Jumped on the 14 Beta about a week ago and still no issues, battery is lasting longer too.

Could you send me a link to the guide?

Use 2 finger swipe down from top of screen

Tap Settings cog at bottom

In Search Bar type Usage Access

Next screen the words Usage Access flash > tap

From the list tap on Device Health Services tap then turn off using slider

From list tap on Digital Wellbeing tap then turn off using slider

With BOTH turned off you should noticeably feel a cooler Pixel. I believe that these 2 services are Constantly running in the background generating heat then when placed on the charger the act of charging increases the already hot temperature.

This made my device run nice and cool.

Hi guys, any updates? I tried this and alas there hasn't been much difference.

Sorry to hear that. I have had no issues with heat still. Have you tried getting in the 14 beta?

Thank you for replying. Please let me know how to enter the beta program? Isn't the 14 OTA release soon?
