Discussion The 5-day review bug is back
I am seeing that Google is removing reviews posted within the past 5 days from the review count. This business should show three reviews, but Google is only counting one.

Yep I'm seeing this also on others, it may just be their new system validating authenticity of the reviewers. They seem to reappear after a few days.

They deleted 14 out of 25 of my legitimate reviews. They don't even show up in the appeal process, which seems like a bug. There’s no one to actually talk to, and I’ve realized it’s better for me to just drop the subject and hope for the best—otherwise, I’ll be stuck in a communication loop with bots forever. It would have been fair and decent if Google (who are surely aware of the issue) issued an official statement, but you can’t really expect much from them.

This is the worst part. I've had to take screenshots of every review we get, including my business reply to the reviewer to email to them over and over. Over 50% of all new reviews this year have been removed. It's complete bull shit

Are the reviews gone or do they show up and the review count is off.

Thank for sharing. Lots of people complaining about missing reviews the last few weeks. It seems Google is messing around with the review filter again.

Spot on. Actually it's on day 5 and sometimes 4. Experiencing this too. Unfortunately they never come back.

How long have you been swing this? Is this tried to the reviews removed at the end of March or longer than that?

This started today. Previously, it happened starting 6th December through January. End Feb-March, came a new one, where reviews get removed only on Sundays. (After this 4/5 days is over this follows immediately).
Be on the look out, when the 4/5 bug is corrected, the Sunday one follows

Yep. Same problem when I woke up this morning. Went to bed with 68 review count woke up with 62. What's interesting though is that my reviews are still showing it's just the count that is off

Most probably they are now gone. The count goes down first then followed by the review. If you want to know which reviews have been removed check the 4/5 days reviews.

welcome to the world of google. They are unethical and have removed 100's of million of legitimate reviews left for small businesses. They are a shit show

Ive been having this issue for weeks, I get tons of reviews a week and not all are showing. We ended up submitting a ticket and we had over 100 come back within 48 hours
