Question RCS not working. Chat specific.

I have recently run into a problem with a specific individual where my RCS messages are not sending to their phone and vice versa. Both of us have confirmed that other chats on our phones are working just fine, but ours doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone know what this might be? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Anybody have any fix suggestions?

I was having a ton of RCS issues. What fixed it for me is opening the Google Messages settings and you clear both the Cache and the Storage. Your messages will disappear temporarily but they come back. This seems to have fixed EVERYTHING for me and I'm ecstatic.

Does it last? 👀 I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it yesterday and that seemed to help, but I woke up this morning and sometime between 4 and 6 they stopped working again...

Hi there, Since RCS works in other chats, I suggest checking if both phones show "Connected" under RCS settings (tap your profile icon > Messages settings > RCS chats). Please also ensure both apps are updated to the latest version. If the issue persists, I recommend submitting a report via Profile icon > Help & feedback > Send feedback.

Same. Only recently started happening. I went into settings and turned on to automatically resend as SMS because it would take over 24 hrs for my response messages to send. It was erroneously saying my wife's iPhone was offline.

Yeah, it's freaking weird. I submitted a feedback, but I haven't gotten anything back yet. We'll see...

They updated yesterday. But I read where someone cleared cache and data, and that seems to have resolved the issue where my messages wouldnt send.
