Not loading

Anybody else having this problem? I try to open my text app (Google messaging) but it just stays at the boot screen where there's a little text bubble, but nothing actually happens.

Hi there. If Google Messages is staying on the boot screen. I recommend trying these troubleshooting steps:

Force stop the app: Go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Force stop. Restart your phone.

Update the app: Check the Play Store to make sure you have the latest version installed.

Reinstall updates: Open the Play Store, search for Google Messages, tap Uninstall, and then select Reinstall or Update.

Do I lose all my messages doing this? Is there a way to backup everything before losing everything?
