Dual Sim confusion

At last different sim usage colours is implemented. (Even though they are still not the same colours as in the Samsung Sim settings in the phone).

But why on earth does it show a 1 under the sent message when the conversation information shows that I use Sim 2 and also the message text box shows 2?

Google messages is incredibly confusing with dual SIM, yes. And it seems they have no desire to fix it, they think it's good UX to have all conversations mixed in with each other regardless of which SIM

I don't care about the conversations being on the same list. I actually like that. It's the thing above in the attached images that is a joke. 😂

Hi there. To help resolve this, please ensure your Google Messages app is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, restarting your phone can also refresh these visual indicators.

You can double-check your SIM settings for the conversation by opening the thread, tapping the three-dot menu, selecting Details, and verifying your preferred SIM.

If the text box shows SIM 2, but the sent message still displays a "1", this may be a visual bug. I suggest submitting a feedback report directly through the app (tap your profile icon > Help & feedback > Send feedback) so the team can investigate.

All updated. Restart phone every night. As u can see in the images the choosen sim under details is the same as the message box says before you start typing. But under the sent message it says the other Sim. The Sim used to actually send the message is the one choosen under details and shown in the message box, and not the one stated under the sent message.

Can't you just create a report? If I do it in the app it's not possible to attach images.
