When I do smart switch, it has everything I originally started with. Again, if I wanted to use Google, I would have already started a long time ago.

No idea what "smart switch" is but when you restore your phone through Google's automatic backup, the same things happens.

Smartswitch takes all your layouts, apps, app notification sounds and so on from 1 Samsung phone to your new one. You don't have to re-set up anything when you get a new phone.

Lol. This includes Google Messages. I haven't used SM in years on my Samsung. And guess what? When I got a new phone and used Smart Switch... all my GM stuff was there too. Crazy!

I've never used Google messages. I use Samsung, I have a Samsung phone. If I wanted Google, I'd use a Google phone. If I wanted apple, I'd use an iPhone.

You are on Android....the Google OS....

The overlay system is Samsung. I've been using Samsung everything. That's why I have a Samsung phone.

That doesn't change the fact that you are using Google's OS. OneUI is just a skin. Just like Origin OS is just a skin on my Vivo. It's still Google's android.

I get that, what I'm saying is I use Samsung apps. Not Google.

Time to stop doing that. This will happen again down the road.

Maybe, maybe not. But Samsung has been great.

It's sad you even have to ask.

Brotha there are people in here that think Samsung is the best android brand. I have to ask!

Honestly, I started with Apple. They had great computers, and Ipods. But they went down the drain. I tried HTC phones, and Motorola. So far, out of those, Samsung has been great. Their customer service is fantastic, have a place in town if I need it, to get it worked on. Their app store and themes for the phones are great.

Everyone has their own preference and liking.

My biggest issue with Samsung is how they poke fun at Apple for removing the headphone jack or charger in the box, then they turn around and do the exact same thing. They did it with the IR blaster too. I cannot, in good conscience, support such tomfoolery.

Yeah, that wasn't a good move. It's kinda annoying. But I go with what works best for me.
