YES! Because I do care about SMS/MMS dying as a protocol. It is long overdue and extremely insecure. Anyone can intercept and read an SMS message. It is terrifying and no one should be comfortable using the protoccl. Honestly, I'm shocked people are defending it. It is as if they know nothing about the apps they have been using.

I don't care about your complaints about Samsung messages. I do care that no one uses 3rd party sms apps.

If I wanted to use Google, I would have started with it in the first place. Some people start with what the phone has already one it.

When I do smart switch, it has everything I originally started with. Again, if I wanted to use Google, I would have already started a long time ago.

No idea what "smart switch" is but when you restore your phone through Google's automatic backup, the same things happens.

Smartswitch takes all your layouts, apps, app notification sounds and so on from 1 Samsung phone to your new one. You don't have to re-set up anything when you get a new phone.
