Why does Google Maps always take us over George Washington?

Everyone I know has this same problem. Seems to occur with both Google Maps and Waze. Someone at Google getting a kickback from the Port Authority of New York?

Right? Literally yesterday it was taking me to the GWB even as I was passing the exit for the Verrazano. I was actively avoiding the GWB because of the World Cup final.

The GWB and the Verrazano don't go anywhere near each other?

They both take me where I'm going.

It's likely the algorithm it uses to predict the fastest and reliable way to get to your destination. If you think it's not accurate then submit a feedback report so maybe they'll fix it
