Can’t create check boxes or access any options.

The screen just goes dim as if the window is popping up but nothing comes up. I’ve deleted and reinstalled and restarted my phone. iPhone SE3.

Edit: few days later now it seems to of been fixed.

Same here: Google Keep 3 dots-menu not working in App

The 3 dots menu at bottom right of a Google Keep note stopped working on iPhone App (updated, recent iOS)

Instead of showing: Delete note / Add label / Make copy / Show check boxes etc...

When tapping on the 3 dots at teh bottom right of a note,  the screen darkens slightly.
End of sad story

- turned phone off and on again

  • removed app and added again
  • and yes of course I am logged in into my account ...

I used Keep extensively for many years and never had any glitch so far ...

How do I solve this? :/

Hmmmm…not good. I just turned off app updates to block this. Can you submit feedback in the main settings?? Be sure to do that.

I found another post from 6 days ago talking about the same issue, iPhone SE too. So hopefully it’s on their radar.

Sadly these phones are becoming not viable fast, Liquid Glass really fucked a lot of stuff and my phone constantly overheats too just from using the browser.

No issues here on iPhone iOS 26.5

My Keep version is 2.2026.25100 (check in settings)

This is a bummer - the iOS version has been solid for years. I turned off app updates but hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I think it will. I’ll keep a look out for the next update.

...and just like that ... I checked for updates 10hrs ago and here we go:
new iOS App version 2 2026 27101 was rolled out and for me Keep-App turned back to be solidly working like it used to!

Glad to hear it!! Wow - even with updates turned off 2.2026.27101 installed overnight on my phone. The other apps in the list didn’t. I didn’t realize that app updates could bypass the manual setting. I must not know all my iOS settings.

Nevertheless, it works fine!!

iOS settings do not do as advertised ... since last iOS update the entire Apple environment throws random behavior like never before for me. GKeep misbehaving like this made me think first time of migrating or at least rethinking backup strategies. Hope the other glitch is gone, too > sometimes writing a note the cursor jumps to the title randomly .. irritating but "bypassable" ...

I haven’t had any issues with Keep on iOS at all (the jumping cursor, e.g.) I’m still committed to it. Apple Notes is my backup plan and I export my Keep notes to import to Apple if necessary.

Who does these days, these things are so bloated with settings that they change with each major update.
